Zohar Yomi – Privacy Policy

The Zohar Yomi app ("the app") is operated by Noam Bar-Levav ("we"). This policy describes what information the app collects — and the short answer is: none.

The app collects no data

The app does not collect, store remotely, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no ads, no analytics tools, and no tracking.

What stays on your device only

• Settings and study progress — your study track, days marked as learned, and similar preferences are stored only in your device's local storage. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
• Location — if you choose the "my location" option for computing sunset time, your location is read once and saved on the device only. It is never sent anywhere. You can also pick a city from a list, with no location permission at all.

Network traffic

The app downloads the scanned Zohar pages and content files (such as a daily dedication line) from our server. These requests fetch fixed content only and carry no personal identifiers. As with any web server, standard access logs may record the IP address of a request; these logs are not used to identify or track users.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Since no data is collected at all, no children's data is collected either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, updates will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date.
